Dear South Central LAMP Community,
As the day of giving thanks approaches, I thought it would be meaningful to reflect—both as a team and with the families we serve—on what we are grateful for. Personally, I carry deep gratitude for many things, including for the people I have met along the journey of being part of South Central LAMP. I have grown so much from the wisdom, generosity, and acts of love I have encountered here. South Central LAMP feels like a living organism—one that reflects the love it gives and receives from everyone who walks through its doors.
I truly believe I am a better person because of my experiences here. Just as I often share with the women when they first arrive at SC LAMP: “You came in as one person, but you will leave as another.” That transformation doesn’t just happen for our participants—it happens for all of us. Our mission is powerful. It touches every single person who is part of this community, and I am deeply grateful for the privilege of being a part of it.
